With more than 40 years of experience in development and construction of residential homes, Spathies has partnered with more than 100 churches in the city of Chicago. His 'New Beginnings Program' has produced more than 500 affordable, market rate homes through the body of Christ.

He is currently recognized throughout the city of Chicago as the A QUALITY BUILDER OF AFFORDABLE HOMES most affordable builder of quality homes. In 1991, Spathies started his New Beginnings collection of homes, which have been embraced by a host of churches and faith-based community organizations throughout the Chicagoland area.
